Best saw I've used

Out of all the table saws I've used in my over 45 years of experience this saw has out preformed them all. I would recommend this to all craftsmen.

Great Tool and Great Service

At 52, I have done countless construction and home improvement projects. Over the years I have added to my arsenal as I could afford. I have made mistakes buying the low cost and ended up disappointed. This saw is NOT one of those mistakes. I did my research decided the DWE7491RS was exactly what I needed and was worth the extra cost. Have to give props to the guys at FAOutlet! Great help and super star service. Looking for many years from this saw and making all my future tool purchases from them.

Very nice saw!

Dewalt 10'' Jobsite Table Saw w/ 32-1/2'' Rip Capacity & Rolling Stand, this table saw is so easy to move around and the rip capacity is does take getting used to were everything is stored under the table. Once you calibrate everything it is very accurate. The extra money for the rolling stand ,larger rip and dado is well worth it. Glad I didnt hold back. I used this to cut through sheets of acrylic with a triple chip blade and it does a nice job, plywood cuts even better. This is my first table saw and one of the many quality Dewalt tools I own.

Perfect for my needs

I get accurate cuts. The saw doesn't give me any trouble. I love the portability. It is easy to set up and put away.

Nice saw!

This is a great little saw. My only minor complaints are you really have to hunt to find their little hiding places where they store the accessories and it would be nice if the fence had a track built into it so featherboards could be mounted without having to use clamps. Like others, I find the miter gauge to be useless for anything other than construction work. If you're using this saw for anything other than house framing applications, you'll need to buy a precision miter gauge. Overall, this saw is very portable and much more stable than it looks. I considered a Delta, but this DeWALT has Delta beat by a long shot.

Great saw

Very happy with my purchase. I sold my heavy cabinet saw when I moved from Mich. to Tx. This does everthing that one did but with the ability to move it to the job site it knocks the old cabinet saw out. First job was cutting 2" roughsawn pine. Smooth cut and never bogged down.

I haven't had a lot of time to use it but it is everything I hoped it would be. Very easy to put to gather. The saw got hereabout two days before the date it was schedule to arrive.

plenty of power to rip thick boards

I bought it to rip 2" cherry boards, it cuts through them like butter. I love the fence lock and dial. Folds up out of the way

Best available with some shortfalls

Just bought one of these 2 months ago. Have used on remodel projects for Flooring, Kitchen, Trim and general framing. Overall I would recommend this saw, but... First glance at the miter gauge will make you laugh, throw it in the trash. Like all DeWalt tools the nice little extras are NOT included and are typically over priced, and there are none for this saw, like a dado throat plate or table extensions. Before you use the saw Check that the alignment / tuning bolts are tight and accurate. The rail guide on mine was not adjusted or tightened properly causing the saw motor/blade to wobble (This is NOT discussed in the manual, and MUST be adjusted FIRST before all other adjustments). On the plus side, adjustments were not too difficult, except the riving knife adjustment, which was a pain. Once operational the saw has performed very well, with a little care, some accessories and careful work habits you can actually build cabinet boxes and doors with good results, but remember this is NOT a cabinet saw. This saw could really use, and distinguish itself from the competition, if it had a screw/handle to adjust the blade angle (I find this a very frustrating omission, and am designing one to retrofit). The cam lock alone is totally inadequate / inaccurate. The rip fence has worked very well, I have ripped to 32" with good results, larger stock REQUIRES some type of outfeed device, I use 2 or 3 roller tripods when using larger stock, even if I have a helper. The stand is nice, and very stable after you kick out the legs to their full extension. The table is easy to set up. This saw would be really nice with the following: 1) The new switch is nice, but an enhancement would be an outlet that could be used to connect a shopVac that operated with the saw switch, 2) A better miter gauge, 3) outfeed table extension. 4) screw handle to adjust the blade angle (very important in my mind)
