More than a sander

After 10 years of good reliable service my IR sander finally wore out. This unit is a replacement for it. I have a machinist friend make a 3/8"-24 female thread to5/8"11 male thread adapter for this sander. This allows it to drive a huge variety of grinding wheels, wire wheels, and anything else that has a 5/8-11 thread. So far this sander is working as well as the IR it replaced. Plenty powerful and it gets in places a conventional grinder won't fit. Hook and loop(velcro)pad and an appropriate abrasive makes short work of large gaskets.
